VOLCANO NEIGHBORS

Our Consaca coffee is named for the municipality in which it was grown.  Nestled in the mountains of Narino, Consaca is known by the name “Historical corner of Colombia”. The beans are selected from only the best, small producer farms that have achieved excellent, unique coffees in Narino. At 1,850-2,020 meters above sea level, cherries receive abundant solar radiation with optimum rainfall and temperatures.  The nearby active volcano, Galeras, provides volcanic soils for the coffee plants in surrounding areas. All these favorable factors give a pleasing acidity with medium sweetness, and notes of cherry, lime and chocolate.
