Alex is our longest standing relationship in Honduras. Dating back to our first visit there in 2017 when we were blown away with his coffee. He grows a pretty crazy tasting variety called Paraneima. It is a cross between Villas Sarchi and Catimor and it is tough as nails but still boasts an intense cup quality. So intense in fact that customers are "wowed" by it but don't necessarily want to drink it every day. It is a little bit like the craziest hoppy sour beer you have ever had. Probably not your daily go to but fascinating none the less. We will be visiting Alex on our upcoming trip as well. It will be cool to see how his family has grown over the years.
