Alex is our longest standing relationship in Honduras. Dating back to our first visit there in 2017 when we were blown away with his coffee. He grows a pretty crazy tasting variety called Paraneima. It is a cross between Villas Sarchi and Catimor and it is tough as nails but still boasts an intense cup quality.  

During our visit to his farm last year we learned that Alex has moved away and his family has taken over the production of his coffee.  Hence the new name "Familia Baide".  We will miss Alex but his family is committed to working with us and we found the quality this year to be very strong.  The future is bright!
