Another perfectly processed coffee from the master Luis Alberto Balladarez! Grown on his award-winning farm, Un Regalo de Dios (A Gift From God) in Mozonte, Nicaragua, this 100% Paraiso variety coffee is so sweet. It has a nice blueberry/strawberry taste at first that finishes like pineapple and boasts a balanced acidity. The Paraiso (paradise) variety is a crossbreed between the Timor Hybrid and the Yellow Catuai. It produces yellow coffee cherries when ripe and is highly resistant to the Coffee Leaf Rust (CLR) Disease, particularly of the dangerous nematode type, Meloidogyne exigua. This coffee is so solid because it is sweet, and the fruit is easily distinguishable.
